Intent Ceremonies

These Intent Ceremonies, conducted by many different individuals, express proposed intentions for our combined future.  They encourage your participation in making these intentions your own and ask that you add your energies for these changes to the Group Consciousness.  This may be done anytime, since these ceremonies are conducted above time and space and you are "hooked up" the minute you start to read.
We thank you for your interest and participation

Diana:  I call to all within the sound of my voice, please join us above time and space, with joy in your heart, and share our Intent Ceremony.  Today our guest speaker is Ascended Master White Eagle.  I now give you, White Eagle.
White Eagle:  Thank you, Diana.  Today I would like to speak about charity.
Charity to most people is thought of as giving a few dollars or some old clothes to a local organization who then hands them out to those in need.  While this is an honorable effort at recycling and of a degree of benefit to those receiving them, to me what is even more important is to re-establish a person who is having a rough time of it, in a position of self-empowerment.
By this I mean that often, giving a person ones hand-me-downs gives the receiver the impression that he or she is not good enough to deserve new things.  In other words, one is re-enforcing that idea in someone when charity is given, even if it is money, if it is not given in the right way.
Now I am not talking about donating old clothes to a store where they are resold and the money is then used to buy food, housing and clothes for those a bit down on their luck (so to speak).  The people who buy and wear those used clothes do so by choice, not because they are forced into it by circumstances.
Therefore, my suggestion for the day would be to form the intent to give to charities where the receiving individual's integrity and self-esteem can remain intact.  Give to charities that encourage individuals to get up, brush themselves off and continue with their life plan, whatever that might be.
Charity is a good thing.  One can often say, if it were not for a few wonderful breaks (that one creates for themselves), that could be me.  Everyone at one time or another has felt down and out.  Everyone!  How it expresses itself in ones life is the only difference.
So, please, give.  Give with your heart open and intend to give to others leaving their integrity and self-respect intact, even if it means you must give them some work to do so that they feel they are not receiving charity.  You might just find out that they have given you more than you have given them!
I AM White Eagle and I thank you for sharing you time with me.  I bid you a good day.

Please feel free to distribute as long as it remains in its entirety
and proper credit is given.  Thank you.
