Spiritual Techniques

In the hustle and bustle of today's world, one often forgets the most precious things in one's life... family and close friends.

It is easy to take those closest to you for granted.  It is only when they are gone by way of death or loss of affection that most people realize just how much that person meant to them.

So, what I would like to suggest as a spiritual technique for today is a method of "Sending Your Love" to those you cherish most.

First, find a quiet place to sit in nature and reflect upon each and every individual who plays an important part in your life.  Think about why they are important to you and how they make your life richer.

Next, choose one of them to focus upon and see or imagine them in your Mind's Eye.  Form the intention to send that individual unconditional love.

Send this love directly into their heart with no strings attached, no thoughts of changing them, no expectations of a reaction from them or receiving anything in return from them.

Try your best not to place them in a box, thinking "...if only s/he were more patient or grateful or less angry, I would be able to love them more."  In other words, just love them wholly and completely as best you can.

Perhaps you might even want to express your gratitude to them for making such wonderful contributions to your life by helping you to learn life's lessons.

Do this for about three minutes for each individual that you want to "Bless" with your love, then go on to think about the next dear one in your life and send them three minutes of unconditional love.

This is an easy technique to do because you know these people.  You love them enough to keep them in your life.  Three minutes for everyone dearest to your heart, given occasionally, let us say every week or even more often, is not too much to ask of yourself to give to those dearest to you.

With an open heart and gratitude for considering my suggestion,
I AM Sananda, also known as Yeshua.

Permission is given to freely to share this as long as it remains in its entirety and proper credit is given.  Thank you.
